It's official! Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi first look to be out tomorrow

Right now, all eyes are on his next project Heeramandi. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the show's magnificence ever since it was revealed. Earlier, the makers have given us a peek at the stunning world of Heeramandi. The series, which has been hailed as Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ultimate project, will elevate storytelling. Fans are now ecstatic that the OTT platform has finally revealed that they are all set to release the first look of the show tomorrow after much anticipation.

Sharing the announcement, the makers shared a video on social media with the caption: “Get ready for the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, majestic world of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, arrives tomorrow #HeeramandiOnNetflix.” Take a look at the post here:

With a cast that includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi will be released on Netflix.

In the teaser that was released earlier, every actress wearing yellow attire is seen staring directly into the camera while the words "Sanjay Leela Bhansali invites you to the world where courtesans were queens" flicker across the screen. Viewers will be transported back in time to a period when courtesans ruled as kings in this historical drama series. The show will explore the cultural reality of the Heera Mandi neighborhood through the tales of courtesans and their patrons, set against the volatile backdrop of the 1940s Indian Independence movement.

Speaking about his magnum opus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, earlier, in a statement, said, "Heeramandi is an important milestone in my journey as a filmmaker. This is an epic, first of its kind series based on the courtesans of Lahore. It is an ambitious, grand, and all-encompassing series; therefore I am nervous yet excited about making it. I am looking forward to my partnership with Netflix and bringing Heeramandi to audiences all over the world."

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's projects

Sanjay Leela Bhansali will take a break from his renowned historical dramas for a while now. He recently announced a new film starring Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt. The film is titled 'Love and War'. Although nothing more about the film is out yet, rumors have it that it will not be a period drama but rather a love story.
