Actor Varun Tej will be having a few busy months ahead with two big releases lined up, Ghani and F3. The first one to hit theatres will of course be Ghani, the sports drama where the actor plays a boxer for the first time in his career. He's paired alongside Saiee Manjrekar in it while the likes of Naveen Chandra, Naresh, Jagapathi Babu, Suneil Shetty, Nadhiya and Upendra essay crucial roles in the film. Kiran Korrapati makes his directorial debut with the project.

Earlier today, the team confimed that Ghani would be hitting theatres on February 25. Many wondered whether Geetha Arts would be ready to clash with Bheemla Nayak on a festival day and if two actors (Varun Tej and Pawan Kalyan) from the same family would share the same release date for their films. However, with the producers of both the films having spoken to one another over a meeting today, Ghani makers took a call to release the film on February 25 itself.

This more or less confirms that Bheemla Nayak wouldn't be releasing on February 25. The decision too is a practical one given that the 50% seating capacity restriction hasn't been lifted in Andhra Pradesh yet and no GO has been issued with regard to ticket-pricing in the state yet. For a film like Ghani that's made on a far-less budget, issues like these may not affect the result much. So, the major clash is now between Ghani and Sharwanand's Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu.

Ghani is produced under Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company, while Allu Aravind is the presenter and George C. Williams, the cinematographer. The film is edited by Marthand K Venkatesh. aha is the streaming partner of the film.
