Zac Efron has always scored high in the looks department, and so when he started looking a bit different his fans noticed. 

Recently, in an interview with Men’s Health magazine, Zac Efron revealed why his face looks different since last year, and told the publication that he had to change his apperance after a horrible accident.

Zac Efron he had slipped on a sock while running in his house which resulted in a broken jaw. And soon, the muscles in his face had swollen up.

Zac soon saw that his chin was hanging against the granite corner of a fountain and was knocked unconscious. In his cover story for Men's Health magazine, he narrated, "(When he woke up, he found his) chin bone was hanging off his face."

The masseter muscles had to be arranged back to the inside of his face and the movie star had to undergo physical therapy and allow his face to 'work out' over time. hence, Zac said, the change. 

"The masseters just grew. They just got really, really big," Zac Efron said. 

Zac Efron fans have been speculating for alomost two years that he had done some kind of cosmetic surgery, especially when he appeared for a video on Earth Day. As reproted, the observant fans thought his jawline looked a lot heavier.

His Australian radio vet friend, , came to his rescue then saying the actor would never go under the knife.

Kyle Sandilands, of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, who is also Zac Efron's friend, said at the time, "I would know if he’d had any plastic surgery. It’s like getting a Picasso and having a kid finger paint all over it. Why bother?"

The handsome movie star also revealed that his intense workout regime for his Baywatch remake had left him feeling 'pretty bad depression'.
