Iyyeru Kanda Dubai, the first song of M A Nishad’s Iyer in Dubai, has been released by the makers. The first look of the film was out earlier this month. Mithun Jayaraj, Minnale Nazeer, Aswin Vijayan, Bharath Sajikumar, and Anand Madhusoodanan have sung the song, penned by Manu Manjith. Anand Madhusoodanan has composed the music.
Mukesh, Urvashi, Dhyan Srinivasan, and Shine Tom Chacko and Durga Krishna are playing the lead roles in the film, bankrolled by Vignesh Vijayakaumar under the banner of Wealth-I Productions. The first look as well as the song hint at a comedy family entertainer.
The song portrays Mukesh and Urvashi as they travel around Dubai with their friends. There is a brief glimpse of Dhyan and Durga's characters as well.
The fun-loving, humorous aspects of Urvashi and Mukesh—which the Malayali audience adores—will be showcased in the Dubai-set film. The duo is working together on a film after a while. According to sources, Iyer in Dubai is expected to be released soon.
Siddarth Ramaswamy and Vivek Menon have helmed the camera work for the film. Johnkutty is the editor. Jafar Idukki, Alencier, Maniyanpillai Raju, Kailash, Sudhir Karamana, Sohan Seenulal, Ullas Pandalam, Jayakrishnan, Sinoj Siddique, Jayakumar, Uma Nair, and Sree Latha Namboothiri are also acting in this movie.
Vairam, Best of Luck, and No. 66 Madhura Bus are some of the renowned works of Nishad. The director has also acted in a few movies, such as She Taxi, Ore Mugham, and Vaakku.
Mukesh acted in his 300th film, Philips, recently. The feel-good family entertainer, directed by Alfred Kurian Joseph, was released on December 1.
Urvashi had a busy 2023 with a couple of releases in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Dhyan Sreenivasan also has a few films lined up for 2024, including his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan’s directorial debut, Varshangalkku Shesham. His recent films, Cheena Trophy and Bullet Diaries, hit the big screen on December 1. The first look of Dhyan’s upcoming film Kudumbasreeyum Kunjadum is also out.
