The makers of Sunny Deol's Jaat have introduced Randeep Hooda's character. A teaser, featuring Hooda as Ranatunga, has dropped online.

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol's next film, Jaat, is one month away from its theatrical release. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the high-octane action thriller's teaser released in 2024. It gave us a quick glimpse into the world of Jaat. Following its massive response, the makers have introduced Randeep Hooda's character from Jaat. He will be seen as a menacing antagonist, Ranatunga in the film. A promo introducing his character is out on social media.
Randeep Hooda is ready to take on Sunny Deol in a level-headed clash in Jaat. The character promo highlights Randeep as Ranatunga seated in a police station. It is followed by a scene ft. him sitting in the rain. Towards the end, he exudes a menacing vibe while firmly holding a knife as he gears up for a deadly fight.

Sharing the promo on YouTube, Mythri Movie Makers wrote, "The Nemesis Of JAAT on Mythri Movie Makers. Introducing the phenomenal Randeep Hooda as the menacing 饾悜饾悁饾悕饾悁饾悡饾悢饾悕饾悊饾悁 from the world of JAAT. The stage is set for a ruthless face-off with the JAAT (sic)." For the uninitiated, the action sequences have been crafted by Anl Arasu, Ram Laxman, and Venkat.
The film's music has been composed by Thaman S and Rishi Punjabi has worked on the cinematography. Apart from Sunny and Randeep, the film's ensemble star cast includes Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher and Viineet Kumar Siingh. Jaat is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 10 and will clash with Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf.
Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda has done several action-packed movies in his career. The actor featured in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai as ACP Agnel Wilson. He was also a part of the 2013 action-thriller, John Day, where he played the role of ACP Gautam.
For that matter, Hooda played the role of ruthless gangster Rana in Salman Khan-starrer, which is available for streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
