Jack OTT release date: When, where to stream Siddhu Jonnalagadda's action comedy

Jack is Siddhu Jonnalagadda's new film that was hyped a lot thanks to the DJ Tillu and Tillu Square effect, which were big hits at the box office. The action comedy was directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by BVSN Prasad. As Siddhu has a great fan following, Jack opened to good occupancy on day one. But as the negative word of mouth spread, the film fell flat at the box office.

We at OTTplay were the first ones to reveal that Netflix had grabbed the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. Now, the latest update is that Netflix has locked the digital streaming date and will make Jack available from May 8, 2025. BVSN Prasad of Tholi Prema fame spent a lot of money on the film, but he ended up incurring losses.

Now that Jack has locked its OTT release date, we need to see how the film will be received on OTT. Vaishnavi Chaitanya of Baby fame played the female lead in this film, and she was also trolled for her performance and looks in the film. Post the release of the film, Siddhu Jonnalagadda did not even promote the film one bit and has since maintained a very low profile. He has also pushed the shooting of his new film Telusu Kada, which is being directed by stylist Neeraja Kona.

Jack plot details

Jack is based on a man who wants to become a RAW agent and is caught in a terrorist attack. How he helps the agency crack the case is the basic story of the film. Siddhu's honest and fun performance was loved by many, but critics felt that Siddhu is still in the Tillu zone, which was evident in his character of Jack as well.

With the OTT deal, the makers have landed in the safe zone, as per the news. The OTT release, which was supposed to be advanced by Netflix, is going as per schedule and will stream Jack from May 10, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
