Jacqueline Fernandez confirms film with Jean-Claude Van Damme, calls him 'true action hero'

In September of this year, Jacqueline Fernandez dropped a photo with the Hollywood action star Jean-Claude Van Damme, which brought in reactions from fans as well as celebs such as Varun Dhawan. During a recent interaction, the Ram Setu actor confirmed that it was not just any photo but actually a collaboration between the actors for a film. Jacqueline revealed that they shot for their film in Italy and revealed much more details.

The actor told Filmfare that shooting a film in Italy with Jean-Claude Van Damme was an incredible experience. Jacqueline called him a true action star whose films have inspired her since she was a kid. Her family and she own every one of his flicks and regularly watch them together. The actor never in a million years imagined that she would work on a movie set with him. Talking about the project, Jacqueline said she has a terrific part and the script's full of action, drama, and suspense, calling it a great experience.

Moreover, before her photo with Van Damme, Jacqueline also dropped a photo that featured pop star and actor Selena Gomez, which led to fans losing their calm instantly. Talking about meeting the Only Murders in the Building actor, Jaccky revealed that during her time in Italy filming with Van Damme, she had the pleasure of meeting the talented singer and actor. She called Selena refreshingly genuine, and it was a pleasure to spend some time chatting with her at their meeting.

Jacqueline Fernandez's Hollywood aspirations

While talking to the leading magazine, Jacqueline also spoke at length about her plans to become a Hollywood star, stating that her intention was probably to imply that she is open to working on any kind of film. Working in Bollywood and Hindi-language films has been an incredible learning and career-building experience for her, and she feels very fortunate to have had the chance to work with so many talented people and be a part of so many successful films. As an actor, Jacqueline's goal is to broaden her horizons by performing in a variety of roles and contributing to a wide range of music. She added that meeting people from all over the world who have a passion for telling stories via cinema is an inspiring experience, regardless of whether the films are made in French, English, or Spanish.
