Ullu app’s latest presentation, Jaghanya: Kuttey ki Maut, literally presents the tale of a man and a dog. This time, though, it is not the bond of love but murder. Both the dog and the man are murderous in the trailer of Jaghanya.

This 1.48 minute clip begins with dogs eating a human (female). Soon after that, the trailer basically talks about how much the man and his woman hate dogs. Ironically though, they behave just like them or even worse.

Watch the trailer here:

There is a scene post-intimacy, where the lead actor reveals he works in his dead wife’s company. Soon after, the lead actress (character name Sugandha) says, “You know what? You’re such a dog.” To make matters worse, the actor agrees and barks like a dog. Was that supposed to turn people on? One will never know.

Sugandha even calls the doggo ‘ugly’ and threatens to ‘kill him’. The irony? This dog kills her instead, with the help of another dog/bitch.

Soon after, you get to see the mandatory cringe scene – the owner sleeps with the maid. Seriously, it just looks like the makers at Ullu are obsessed with bringing this angle with every show they launch. The trailer of Jalebi Bai, which released a few days back, also had the angle. There, the maid plays the central role and seduces men. Here, for some reason, our lead actor decides to sleep with the maid and then regrets it. Can we move past the maid fantasy already, pretty please?

Still think something was missing? That’s right. Rains, mysterious shots and a suspense (or is it?) – our lead actor is a killer (this writer yawns and sobs silently). The only interesting thing that the trailer hints at, is the bond between the man and the dog. Did the dogs help clean up after the man or did they kill someone else?

The title of this show – Kuttey ki Maut also piques interest since dogs are pivotal to the story, quite literally. All the questions will be answered on Ullu, once Jaghanya releases on the app on April 12.
