Jai Hanuman: Bhushan Kumar to co-produce Rishab Shetty-Prasanth Varma's fantasy drama

HanuMan was a smash hit at the box office, turning heads and grossing just over ₹300 crore. Director Prasanth Varma became the talk of the town following his success. He is now working on his new film, Jai Hanuman, which is being produced on a massive scale by Pushpa producers, Mythri Movie Makers.

Rishab Shetty plays the lead role, and his inclusion has elevated the buzz around Jai Hanuman to another level. If that wasn’t enough, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has joined the project as one of the co-producers. He will present the film in multiple languages, ensuring a strong pan-India release. As a star producer, Bhushan Kumar’s involvement significantly influences the film’s distribution strategy.

Jai Hanuman is the second installment in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe and is set to begin shooting soon. Pre-production is progressing at a brisk pace, and Rishab Shetty will join the sets shortly. Anudeep, who composed the music for HanuMan, will also score the soundtrack for Jai Hanuman.

Meanwhile, director Prasanth Varma of Awe fame has completed a low-budget film featuring newcomers, which will be released in the near future. Casting for Jai Hanuman is still underway, and the female lead has yet to be finalized. Several Bollywood actors are also expected to play key roles in this fantasy drama.

The film will feature extensive VFX, with major Indian companies handling the visual effects. While the graphics in HanuMan, done by a local Hyderabad-based studio, were widely appreciated, Jai Hanuman aims to take the visual experience to the next level.
