Starting on October 11, the political satire will be accessible on the online platform in multiple languages, apart from Malayalam. According to the makers, Jai Mahendran will be streaming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, and Bangla from 12 pm on Sony LIV.

The web series' trailer offers an insight into the life of Mahendran, played by Saiju Kurup. Mahendran is a sly revenue office worker who takes advantage of powerplay and connections inside the system to achieve his objectives. Mahendran is shown engaged in the same powerplay in the 1 minute-and-55-second video when his supervisors question his morality and limit his independence at work.
The clip also includes a brief glimpse into his attempts to maintain his employment and repair his reputation by gaming the system. Whether Mahendran can execute his complex plan is the primary question of the web series. Without a doubt, it makes reference to the first Malayalam political satirical web series.
The web series was originally slated to premiere in February of this year, but for unspecified reasons, it was delayed. Srikanth Mohan is the director of the web series. Rahul Riji Nair is the writer of Jai Mahendran's screenplay. He is also one of the main characters in this web series. This political drama features prominent roles from Suhasini, Suresh Krishna, Johny Antony, Jeo Baby, Miya, Balachandran Chullikad, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vishnu Govindan, Sidhartha Siva, Appunni Sasi, Zhins Shan, and Renjit Shekhar.
