Jaideep Ahlawat: I'll be very happy to return to Paatal Lok

Paatal Lok has set a landmark in the field of the OTT series. The 2020 neo-noir show stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Bodhisattva Sharma, Ishwak Singh, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee among others. It's been almost 2 years since the fans have been waiting for its sequel. We finally have an update about the crime-thriller show.

Recently, during an interview with BollywoodLife.com, Ahlawat mentioned that he will be thrilled to return to the show. "It was one of the first shows that released during the first lockdown, people loved it and it had set the benchmark for the craze that people developed for OTT content since then," said the actor, who plays the lead protagonist named Hathiram Chaudhary in the web series.

He added that he's not aware of the current developments of the projects but hopeful that it will happen soon.

Based on the novel named The Story of My Assassins by Tarun Tejpal, Paatal Lok is an Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy directorial that has been written by Sudip Sharma, Sagar Haveli, Hardik Mehta and Gunjit Chopra. The Amazon Originals web series is bankrolled by the leading Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Ssharma under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz.

Meanwhile, Ahlawat is currently gearing up for his next venture titled Bloody Brothers alongside Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, Shruti Seth Satish and Kaushik among others. The upcoming crime drama series is set to release on ZEE5 on March 18.
