Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar got together days after The Broken News season 2 released and became a hit. The show is out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium and has been the talk of the town since a while now. In a new video released by the makers, the three actors come together and Jaideep-Shriya groove to Sonali’s song, Humma Humma.
Jaideep’s favourite Sonali Bendre song
When asked which is their favourite Sonali Bendre song, Shriya sang Jo Haal Dil Ka. The track is from Sarfarosh, co-starring Aamir Khan. The movie recently clocked 25 years and Aamir hinted on a sequel of the film. There’s still not information on whether Sonali will be a part of Sarfarosh 2.
Jaideep, on the other hand, started singing Humma Humma. The original song is from Bombay, and Sonali was only a part of the special number. The song was reprised years later for Aditya Roy Kapur-Shraddha Kapoor’s Ok Jaanu.
On seeing Shriya and Jaideep sing and dance to Humma Humma, Sonali couldn’t help but look at the cameras impressed and shy all at once. She let out a small, cute smile.
