Jailer: A stylish Rajinikanth spotted greeting the team on the set of Nelson Dilipkumar's next

The shooting for Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer is in full swing and now, a picture of the actor greeting the team while arriving on the set has surfaced on the internet. The actor is seen dressed in semi-formals and is seen entering the shooting spot with his assistants. As he walks towards the set, he is spotted greeting his fans. It was not long ago that a picture of Rajinikanth with a child had emerged on social media. In the pictures, he was giving his autograph on a book and later, posing with the child for the shutterbugs.

Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and shooting is underway in Chennai. A huge set has been erected for the portions in Chennai. Rajinikanth will be playing a jailer in the film and the first-look poster from the film revealed a pensive Rajinikanth in the backdrop of a rundown factory and a meat-soaked cleaver hanging from a chain. The first look has become a rage on the internet. The star cast includes Shivaraj Kumar (marking his debut in Tamil), Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley. Ramya Krishnan is teaming up with Rajinikanth after almost two decades. She had played the iconic character Neelambari in Padayappa (1999) and had reprised the character in a cameo in Rajinikanth's Baba (2002). Meanwhile, the buzz is that Tamanaah will also be part of the film.

Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his third collaboration with Rajinikanth after Petta and Darbar. Fans are awaiting an update on the film around Diwali. Recently, Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, who was shooting for Atlee's Jawan in Chennai, met the Superstar at the studio. Incidentally, both the actors were shooting for the respective films at the same location. However, the pictures from the meeting didn't make it to social media.
