The shoot for Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer is in full swing in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. And now a BTS picture from the film has surfaced online in which a jeep is seen lying overturned on the road with a few vehicles lined up behind it. Going by the same, it looks like Jailer is all set to be an action-packed film. The particular picture seems to be from a chase sequence. The pictures are now doing the rounds on social media and fans of the Superstar are sharing them widely.

Jailer marks Superstar Rajinikanth's 169th film and is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who had earlier directed films like Kolamavu Kokila, Doctor and Beast. The team of Jailer has pulled a casting coup of sorts with the top stars from the four southern industries, Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, Telugu star Sunil on board. The makers had recently confirmed the presence of Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff as well by releasing his look at the earliest. Earlier a video of the actor greeting his fans had made the rounds on social media. It is to be noted that the film marks the debut of Shiva Rajkumar in Tamil and the comeback of Jackie Shroff and Rajinikanth after a span of 35 long years. Their last outing together was Uttar Dakshin (1987).

The rest of the star cast includes Tamanaah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan and Vasanth Ravi to name a few. Ramya Krishnan, too, is teaming up with Rajinikanth after a span of two decades. They had worked together in Padayappa (1999) and Ramya had reprised her character Neelambari in Baba (2002), in a special appearance.

Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Kartik Vijay Kannan and editing by R Nirmal. Jailer is bankrolled by Sun Pictures, who had earlier produced Rajinikanth's Annaththe.
