The team of the upcoming Malayalam film Narivetta, led by Tovino Thomas, promoted the socio-political drama at an event in Kochi. The film, which is directed by Anuraj Manohar, will hit the big screen on May 23. During the promotional event, Narivetta's music director Jakes Bejoy also spoke highly about the film.

Jakes Bejoy, renowned for his music compositions in films such as Operation Java and Malayalee from India, praised Anuraj Manohar, the director of Narivetta. "Anuraj is a filmmaker whose work conveys strong messages. The remainder of the team is focused on how to pack it in an engaging way," he stated. "I'm not exaggerating," the music director said, "but the film has turned out really well and is Tovino Thomas' best performance in recent times." 

He claimed that Narivetta also addresses the 'voice of the voiceless'. Jakes continued by saying that he researched Wayanad folk tunes extensively before composing them. Jakes mentioned that he is so happy to have landed in the project after his recent hits, Officer On Duty and Thudarum. He composed the background music and soundtracks for Anuraj's first feature film as director and Tovino's other recent film, Identity.

The film will have a theatrical release on May 23, along with Dhyan Sreenivasan's Detective Ujjwalan, Sreenath Bhasi's Azadi and Ranjith Sajeev's United Kingdom of Kerala. Fans of the actor had great expectations for Narivetta.

An severe conflict between the police and indigenous group of tribal people is shown in the trailer. It also represents a community's strong opposition to bureaucratic abuse. In addition to a captivating performances, Narivetta is touted to be an intriguing socio-political drama. Reports state that Narivetta is based on true events. On the same day, the Tamil and Hindi versions of the movie will also be released simultaneously. In addition to Tovino, the film stars Cheran, Aarya Salim, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
