Jalsa, a much-anticipated drama thriller, will have its global premiere on Prime Video. Jalsa is directed by Suresh Triveni and co-produced by T-Series' Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Abundantia Entertainment's Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma, and Suresh Triveni. Vidya Balan, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel, and Surya Kasibhatla are among the cast members.

Suresh Triveni previously worked with Vidya Balan on the critically acclaimed Tumhari Sulu, and the two are teaming up again for the sequel. It's also the third time Prime Video and Vidya Balan have collaborated. Following a distinguished content slate that includes Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, Chhorii, Ram Setu, and the enormously popular Amazon Original series Breathe, Jalsa is the next stage in Prime Video and Abundantia Entertainment's long-standing partnership. On March 18, 2022, Jalsa will make its global debut on Amazon Prime Video.

Jalsa is an engrossing and compelling story about conflict told through the eyes of a top-notch journalist and her cook. With mesmerising performances and a nerve-wracking tale, Jalsa promises to keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more.

In a statement, while talking about Jalsa, Vikram Malhotra, the CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, said that Suresh has stitched Jalsa into a stunning narrative with complicated emotions, well-etched characters, and a riveting pace, starring two of the best performers of our day, Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah. He is also looking forward to the global debut of Jalsa across 240 countries and territories, following their successful cooperation with Prime Video with Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, and Chhorii.

Bhushan Kumar, the head honcho of T-Series, said that Jalsa is one of the most riveting and entertaining films they have worked on at T-Series, and he's happy that it's being produced by Abundantia Entertainment, one of their most dependable collaborators.
