Jalwanuma from Heropanti 2: Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria feature in this generic romantic track

A new song from Heropanti 2 ‘Jwalanuma’ was released today. The song, picturised on Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, is composed by AR Rahman with vocals by Pooja Tiwari and Javed Ali. Mehboob has written the lyrics.

In spite of Rahman’s name being attached to the film’s music, the latest track fails to impress and sounds none too different from any other sad romantic song out there. 

A press release states that ‘Jwalanuma’ was shot on a massive scale with a specially constructed set along with hundreds of backup dancers. The release adds that the music video includes “novel contemporary choreography", which is the only thing that stands out in the music video. 

Heropanti 2 is another film where Shroff will appear in an action-hero avatar. Previously, he’s emulated similar roles in the original that was his feature debut, War with Hrithik Roshan, and the Baaghi franchise.

The upcoming action film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Ahmed Khan, who has directed Shroff in Baaghi and has Om - The Battle Within, is at the helm. The script is by Rajat Arora. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amrita Singh and Zakir Hussain also star.

Heropanti 2 is slated to release in theatres on April 29.
