Jameel Khan-Geetanjali Kulkarni’s Gullak 4 beats The Boys season 4, Jamnapaar to be among top 5 OTT originals of the week

Jameel Khan-Geetanjali Kulkarni starrer Gullak’s fourth season is finally out on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. Upon its release, the show has come among the top five OTT originals for the week of May 31-June 6, according to the latest list unveiled by Ormax Media. Gullak 4 has managed to beat the likes of The Boys season 4 as well as Ritvik Sahore’s Jamnapaar to come among top five (both the shows did not manage that).

Gullak 4 even beats Kota Factory 3

The buzz for Kota Factory 3 is huge and for a reason. The Jitendra Kumar-led show comes back after a long gap. However, that did not affect where Gullak 4 ranked. The SonyLIV show beat the Netflix series to come fourth. Kota Factory 3 ranked fifth.

Panchayat 3 still ruling

The buzz for Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat 3 has still not died down and has probably taken a rise after Kota Factory 3 was announced as well. It is the most viewed on OTT even this week. This is followed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chaddha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal. Legend of Hanuman season 4, released on Disney+Hotstar, is the third most viewed.

The Boys S4 and Jamnapaar in bottom 5

Neha Sharma’s Illegal season 3 just missed out on top five. While the series ranked sixth, The Boys season 4 came seventh on the list. Gashmeer Mahajani-Surbhi Chandna’s Gunaah, which released this week, ranked eighth on the list. Vijay Raaz’s Murder in Mahim managed to stay and came ninth of the list. Ritvik Sahore’s Jamnapaar, which came as a surprise to the viewers, also holds its place and ranks 10th.

Upcoming shows

Bridgerton season 3 part 2 will be out on June 13. The same is expected to make it to the list by next week.
