Puneeth Rajkumaar’s final commercial movie, James, released on March 17. Releasing in over 4000 screens, the movie had the biggest opening collection for a Kannada movie. James has kept its box office momentum for day 2.

Backed by Kishore Productions, the movie is directed by Chethan Kumar and has Priya Anand as the female lead. The movie also received favourable reviews following its release.
“A major chunk of the film’s 149-minute run-time is dedicated to action, with Puneeth waltzing from one high-octane stunt sequence to another. There’s hand combat, gun fight, mid-air flips, helicopter kicks, the works – the Power Star is in supreme form in the action sequences.” reads OTTPlay’s review for the action flick.
The streaming rights for James have been reportedly bagged by Sony LIV. The streaming platform is said to have outbid Amazon Prime Video for a massive Rs 40 crore.
