Hollywood filmmaker James Gunn recently expressed his admiration for Telugu superstar Jr NTR. In a recent interview, the renowned director was all praises for the actor and expressed his desire to work with him someday.

During the interview, Gunn was asked if there were any actors he would like to work with in the Indian film industry. “Who is the guy from RRR that’s so good… What’s his name? RRR, the big one from last year? With all the tigers coming out of the cage and everything? That guy!," Gunn told News 18. He was referring to Jr NTR, who played one of the lead roles in the blockbuster film RRR.

Gunn went on to praise Jr NTR, saying, “I would love to work with that guy someday. So amazing, so cool." But, he didn't have a particular role in mind for NTR. Gunn said he needed time to come up with a specific role for the actor when asked about it.

Jr NTR played one of the lead roles named Bheem in RRR, which was written and directed by SS Rajamouli. In the movie, Bheem is a tribal leader who was well-versed in the ways and rules of the jungle. The first time we meet Bheem, he's seen taking on a massive tiger and single-handily capturing it demonstrating his superhuman strength. Later in the movie, the reason and motivations behind Bheem capturing wild animals are revealed in a spectacular fashion.

The scene when Bheem unleashes all the wild animals after he gatecrashes a party of the British governor is one of the iconic moments in the movie. And that scene garnered praise from across the world.

RRR also had Ram Charan playing the other lead role named Ram. RRR was a massive hit at the global box office and it created history by becoming the first Indian production to bag the Oscars in the original song category for its smash hit dance number Naatu Naatu.

Gunn is now waiting for the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the last film of the trilogy. The movie is due in cinemas on May 5.
