Jamie Fox What Had Happened Was heading to Netflix

On December 10, a special called Jamie Foxx What Had Happened Was will drop on Netflix, wherein the Oscar and Grammy winning artist will open up about the harrowing month he spent in hospital, much of which is a mystery to him too as he was in a coma. Hospitalized initially for a bad headache, Foxx’s condition deteriorated soon. While reports state that his condition was critical at times, the cause has not been officially disclosed.

Foxx is said to have woken up with no memory of what had happened. According to people who’d attended the taping of the Netflix special, the actor-musician, who got all teary-eyed about his near-death experience, said that he was glad to be back and is also said to have alluded to P Diddy being behind what happened to him. The rapper is currently facing major legal issues following allegations of abuse, sex trafficking and more.

In October, reports had emerged about the Netflix special taping, which was carried out in Atlanta. In his set, Foxx reportedly spoke about Diddy’s connection to his health scare and that he’d called the FBI on the rapper. The source says that this was definitely not just a punchline and that Foxx was dead serious about what he’d said.

Foxx also sets the record straight on what hit him – revealing his diagnosis and the road to recovery. How much of the actor’s one-man show does make it to the one-hour final edit remains to be seen.
