The new season of the crime-drama web series Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega, a directorial venture of Soumendra Padhi, starring Amit Sial, Seema Pahwa, and Sparsh Srivastav, is streaming on Netflix.

The director of the latest released crime drama series, Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega Season 2, Soumendra Padhi, said, considering the fact that cybercrime and phishing business in India is very common, showing them with plenty of details was very important for him as a storyteller.
Sharing about his shooting process, award-winning director Soumendra Padhi said, "Scams related to cyber-space and phishing have been frequent in our country. Showcasing them in the correct light was highly imperative for me."
Set in the town of Jamtara, located in Jharkhand, the story of the show revolves around two youngsters, Sunny and Rockey, who got into the business of cybercrime, and how, when the local politicians and police get involved, their lives turn upside down.
According to the director, there was a lot of research and real-life cases that the team looked at to understand the depth and gravitas of the situation.
In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Soumendra said," I started doing my research work post the release of the first season, so in a way, I did not come out of Jamtara for three years. I was living there. The energy of the place was also growing on me. Jamtara is one of the beautiful villages. As you know, the show is based on many true stories, and it presents a very disturbing reality about the youth of Jamtara. The place has become a hotspot of cybercrime."
He mentioned, "I believe creativity lies in detail, and that’s the approach the team and I took. With a collective effort, the team and I could put out an effective season 2 for the audience."
With politics, power plays, and scams, Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega has returned with much higher stakes. The new season has a stellar ensemble cast of Sparsh Shrivastav, Anshumaan Pushkar, Monika Panwar, Amit Sial, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Aksha Pardasany, and Seema Pahwa.
