Actor Pooja Hegde has been getting busy in Tamil film industry. The actor is currently part of two big projects, Retro co-starring Suriya, and Jana Nayagan which is touted as Vijay’s final film. Now, it looks like Pooja Hegde has bagged a role in a yet another star film.
Pooja Hegde to do a special number in Rajinikanth’s Coolie
It appears that actor Pooja Hegde’s call sheet is getting busier day after day. As per reports, the actor is expected to make a special cameo appearance for a dance number in the upcoming Tamil film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. While the makers remain tight-lipped about Pooja’s involvement, it looks like we will get to see the actor on big screen before Jana Nayagan release. The actor is also part of Suriya’s Retro which is scheduled for release on May 1.
Coolie is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, featuring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan. Principal photography commenced in July 2024, and is scheduled for theatrical release in 2025. The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is produced by Sun Pictures.
Pooja Hegde pairs up with Vijay for Jana Nayagan once again
Actor Pooja Hegde will be collaborating with Vijay for the second time after Beast, for Jana Nayagan. The film is directed by H Vinoth and also stars Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon and others.
In all likeliness, Jana Nayagan is expected to release after Coolie, in the second half of 2025 or even be pushed to 2026. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and KVN Productions is backing the film. The first look of the film was released recently by the makers, hinting that Jana Nayagan will see Vijay as people’s leader.
