Directed by filmmaker H Vinoth, the film also stars actors Pooja Hegde in her second collaboration with Vijay after Beast, Bobby Deol in his Tamil debut, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, Sunil and others.
The trailer of the film was recently released which confirmed that Jana Nayagan is the remake of Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for Jana Nayagan, with Prime Video bagging the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. It is shot by cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan Isc and edited by Pradeep E Ragav.
