The trailer of Jana Nayagan is nearly three minutes, and packs a punch, with the heroic introduction of Vijay. His name is Thalapathy Vetri Kondan in the film, as we see how he is a man feared by many. Nevertheless, he is seen as a man who cannot be touched easily. But on the other side, he is also taking care of a young girl (played by Mamitha Baiju) whom he wants to join army. But as she faces something detrimental, we see the Bobby Deol playing the antagonist. The trailer is filled with some high-octane action sequences, and Vijay being the man saving the people once again, as he stands up against the villain. The trailer ends with a political undertone dialogue, with the film being hero vs villain template.
