The makers have revealed that the courtroom drama would be released on June 27 through a new poster promoting its audio launch event. Following the release of Garudan in 2023, this film marks Suresh Gopi's power-packed comeback to the big screen.

The reason behind the postponement of the movie is unknown. Nonetheless, it is reasonable to presume that the film does not want to clash with several films that are presently running well in theatres, like Vysanasamedham Bandhumithradhikal, Dileesh Pothan's Ronth, and Mohanlal's Chotta Mumbai. So far, no other Malayalam films have been slated to have a theatrical release on June 27.

The movie will be available for streaming on ZEE5 after its theatrical run, according to a new poster. The audio launch event for Janaki v/s State of Kerala is set for June 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Kochi.
In this gripping thriller, Divya Pillai and Shruti Ramachandran also play important roles. The supporting cast of the movie includes Madhav Suresh, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Jayan Cherthala, Nisthar Seth, Shobi Thilakan, Dilip Menon, Vaishnavi Raj, Aparna, Ratheesh Krishnan, Jai Vishnu, Shafir Khan, Jose Chengannur, Yadu Krishnan, Rajat Menon, Abhishek Ravindran, Kottayam Ramesh, and Manjushree. Under the auspices of Cosmos Entertainments and Karthik Kreations, J.S.K. is directed by Pravin Narayanan and produced by Raafi Mathirra and J Phanindra Kumar. The filmmaker also wrote the screenplay for the movie. Gireesh Narayanan composed the soundtrack for the film.
