Janeman: Get ready to laugh out loud with Mollywood’s full length comedy drama

Amidst the tensions and anxieties related to pandemic and social distancing which people are maintaining, a few Mollywood young stars are ready to offer a few laughs through the latest movie Janeman. The poster of the movie is out, in which a detailed cast line up is mentioned. The funny and appealing teaser which was released a month ago, was accepted and loved by movie lovers.

The comedy entertainer, helmed by Chidambaram, has a stellar cast, including Arjun Ashokan, Lal, Balu Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Riya Saira, Ganga Meera, Sajin Gopu, and Chembil Ashokan. The cast also has many new faces, who are ready to make their debut through Janeman.

The plot revolves around Joy Mon (played by Basil Joseph), who is working as a nurse in Canada. After leading a lonely life for sometime there, he comes back to India to celebrate his 30th birthday with friends and family, which is the curtain raiser sequence of the movie. 

Going by the teaser, it is clear that the movie’s USP is comedy. Film enthusiasts hope that Chidambaram, who has an experience of more than a decade in the cinema industry, won’t let down their expectations.

The movie is written by Chidambaram, along with Ganapathy and Swapnesh Varachal. The cinematography is handled by Vishnu Thandasseri, while Bijibal deals with the music.

Janeman is the second project produced by Lakshmi Warrier, Ganesh Menon, Sajith Kookkal and Shone Antony, after their debut award-winning movie Vikrithi.
