The upcoming Satheesh Kumar and Mirnalini Ravi starrer ‘Jango’ has been recently cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification, with a ‘U’ certificate. We can now catch the sci-fi flick based on the time loop along with our family and friends.
A one-of-a-kind ambitious project, which is brought out for the first time by the Tamil film industry, Jango raised eyebrows recently when its trailer came out. Its plotline was much appreciated and welcomed when viewers found out that it revolves around the protagonist who gets stuck in a time loop for 16 days. Portraying the role of a medical surgeon, Satheesh Kumar is shown to be in a helpless situation when he gets landed in the loop due to unforeseen circumstances. The viewers’ reactions were amped up with intrigue and eagerness to catch the movie to better understand its storyline.
Helmed by Mano Karthikeyan and backed by CV Kumar under his production house Thirukumaran Entertainment, Jango also stars Mirnalini Ravi as the female lead. We get to see her portray the role of a TV show host in the sci-fi flick. The movie also features Karunakaran, Anitha Sampath, Ramesh Thilak, Daniel Annie Pope and Hareesh Peradi among others in pivotal roles. Ghibran (of Vishwaroopam 2 and Raatchasan fame) has composed the tunes for the movie.
Talking about Mirnalini Ravi in a sci-fi film, she has earlier portrayed the role of an alien in Super Deluxe. This time again, we will get to see her in the same genre.
CV Kumar, on the other hand, is also known to have backed several unparalleled projects like Indru Netru Naalai (Time travel) and Maayavan which is yet again another concept built on science fiction. This time, he is all set to bring a visual treat again with Jango. The release date for the same is yet to be announced officially.
