Janhit Mein Jaari: Nushrratt Bharuccha’s social comedy to release on THIS date

After her last few projects, which were all OTT releases, Nushrratt Bharuccha will next be seen on the big screen in her upcoming film titled Janhit Mein Jaari. The actress recently announced the film’s release date.

The actress took to her official Instagram handle to share the news. The post featured the familiar figure of a hand holding a microphone, which viewers might remember from the film’s poster. In a voiceover, Nushrratt remarks that although people might have seen a lot of ‘big’ films in cinemas these days, the makers of Janhit Mein Jaari were bringing to theatres a ‘big idea’. Saying that the film’s story was that of a ‘womaniya ko hain sab pe bhaari’, she announces that the film’s promotions have also started. The upcoming film will be released in theatres on June 10, 2022.

Part of the post’s caption read “Ab tak aapne dekhi hai kayi badi badi filmein.Par ab baari hai iss womaniyaa ki, jo lekar aa rahi hai ek bada idea.

In addition to Nushrratt, the film also features Anud Singh Dhaka, Tinnu Anand, Vijay Raaz, and Paritosh Tripathi in pivotal roles. Touted to be a social comedy, the film is directed by Jai Basantu Singh and produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Raaj Shaandilyaa, Vimal Lahoti, Shradha Chandavarkar, Bunty Raghav and Rajesh Raghav. Raaj and Nushrratt had earlier collaborated with each other on the 2019 film, Dream Girl, with Raaj directing.

Meanwhile, the actress is currently keeping busy with her upcoming projects. She will be seen sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar in Selfiee and Ram Sethu, and also has Hurdang in the pipeline. Her last few films, Chhalaang, Chhorii and Ajeeb Daastaans had all been OTT releases. The first two films can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video, while the latter is a Netflix film.
