It's Lady Superstar Sridevi's 59th birth anniversary today and her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor paid tribute to their mother with heartfelt posts. Janhvi posted a photo of herself and her mother on her Instagram page.

In the heartwarming image, Sridevi can be seen cuddling up to Janhvi and smiling at the camera. Janhvi wrote on instagram, “Happy birthday Mumma. I miss you more and more every day. I love u forever.”

When Janhvi made an appearance on season 7 of Karan Johar's chat show Koffee with Karan, she revealed how her mother's presence made her life seem like a "dream." The Dhadak actress said, “It almost feels that the person I was when mom was around was a fantasy. There were, of course, issues like every family had, but it was idyllic and it seemed almost like a dream.” Jahnvi also mentioned that she has not fully processed the loss.

On the work front, Janhvi was most recently featured in Good Luck Jerry, a remake of the Tamil hit Kolamavu Kokila, which features Nayanthara. She will also be seen in the cricket drama Mr. and Mrs. Mahi opposite Rajkummar Rao and Varun Dhawan and Nitesh Tiwari film's Bawaal.

Several celebrities, notably Zoya Akhtar, Manish Malhotra, Sunny Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, and Maheep Kapoor flooded Janhvi with love as well as heart emojis as soon as she shared the picture.

Sridevi passed away during her 2018 trip to Dubai for a family wedding. The legendary actress was born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan on August 13, 1963. She ventured into films as a child artiste with hit films like Kandhan Karunai, Poompatta and Julie. She landed her first leading role in K Balachander's Moondru Mudichu in which she was seen with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. After a slew of hits in Tamil, she made her debut in Hindi film industry and went on to become the lady superstar. She was married to film producer Boney Kapoor.
