Janhvi Kapoor reveals how she saved herself from a wardrobe malfunction ahead of an awards event

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor almost escaped a major wardrobe disaster when the zip on her dress snapped just before she entered the prestigious Filmfare Awards 2023 red carpet. 

A star-studded gala night was hosted for the Filmfare Awards presentation on Thursday, April 27 in Mumbai. For one of B-Town's biggest award shows, celebrities made sure to present their best selves, and they also put on some entertaining stage performances.

One of the divas who walked the red carpet of the Filmfare Awards on Thursday night was Janhvi Kapoor. She arrived at the gala with a stunning purple gown, adding a splash of colour. As she came at the event wearing the ornate yet stylish gown, Janhvi attracted attention. She wore minimal makeup and accessories, and matched her attire with a bold choker necklace.

While Janhvi appeared to be comfortable in the purple gown as she posed, she has since revealed that the outfit's zip broke just before she entered the red carpet. She also uploaded images of her staff finishing up some last-minute adjustments. "When the zip of your gown rips 5 minutes before the red carpet and 12 minutes before you have to perform on stage," she wrote.

In one of the images, a man is seen adjusting Janhvi's clothing inside her car, and the actress did not pass up the chance to pose there as well.
