Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the Malayalam film won two National Film Awards including Best Debut Film of a Director

Janhvi Kapoor is an actor with a large following working in Bollywood today. The star kid who made her debut with Dhadak in 2018 has only done a handful of projects so far. That actor has now talked about her upcoming project, a remake of Malayalam movie Helen.
Talking to Anupama Chopra in an interview for Film Companion, Kapoor said, “We had one schedule, that broke me physically and mentally” when asked if there are things that make her a good actor that becomes a problem in life.
Kapoor says she is a hardworking actor and that if she doesn't feel drained and broken after a schedule, then maybe she hasn’t given it her everything.
The actor followed this by taking the example of her current project, the remake of Malayalam movie Helen. She says that one schedule had her feel drained mentally and physically but the schedule she is on right now is like a dream.
“I love working with Mathu sir. He just makes life so easy,” Kapoor said, about working with director Mathukutty Xavier.
Xavier made his directorial debut with Helen, which stars Anna Ben in the lead role. The movie follows Helen, a young nurse with dreams, who goes missing as she comes across an accident which has her fighting for her life.
The movie also won two National Film Awards - Best Debut Film of a Director and Best Make-up Artist.
Kapoor was last seen in the horror-comedy Roohi, which failed to impress fans and critics.
