This Holiday season has been an exciting one for Warner Bros, who are ruling it by having not one or two, but three big releases at the theaters throughout. Jason Momoa’s "Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom" released on December 22 , "Wonka" has been strong on the screen since December 8, and "The Color Purple" hit the screens on December 25. Which means the box office battle is mostly in-house, and no matter which films lose or win, the money is coming to the same camp. So the latest update now says "Wonka" is winning over "Aquaman 2" and "The Color Purple."

As per the latest updates on the internet, "Wonka," even after being in the theaters for almost 25 days, is still stronger than both "Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom" and "The Color Purple." A film that suits the Holiday Season and is apt for it with its theme, the movie has certainly found an audience who are loving it. The numbers from Friday, a day before the Christmas weekend now say that the film has earned $8.6 Million at the domestic box office.

As per Variety, these numbers have helped "Wonka" cross the $100 million milestone domestically and stand on a $119 million collection now. The movie is also having a moment at the global box office as it surprisingly is matching towards $300 million and will cross it by the end of the year. It right now has $296.85 million in its kitty. The prequel to Willy Wonka, this is the origin story of the chocolate maker and set much before he went evil and became the dreadful man that we have been aware of. Directed by Paul King, the film is all heats.

As for "Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom" aka "Aquaman 2," the movie brought $6.75 million at the domestic box office and now stands on $65 million total earnings. The negativity around the film has certainly taken a toll on it, and the Jason Momoa starrer is struggling to even break even. Even the audience has mostly given up because this becomes a pointless movie if you think of DCEU being scrapped after this and nothing from this story moving ahead.

"The Color Purple" has earned $4.1 million at the domestic box office and has a total of $36.4 million in its kitty. However, the film has enjoyed a good opening, and this means it will definitely bring better numbers in the future run.
