Jatadhara Twitter review: Sonakshi Sinha’s Telugu debut with Sudheer Babu’s supernatural thriller fails to impress fans, as they called it cringe and even unbearable. The bilingual film premiered in both Telugu and Hindi on November 7. It had a theatrical clash with Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s legal drama Haq. Both the movies are eyeing the weekends for adding a major chunk to their collection. While Yami Gautam’s film is ahead in the box office war, Jatadhara seems to fade early with negative reviews. Read on what netizens think of the horror thriller.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), netizens shared their views on Sonakshi Sinha’s supernatural thriller Jatadhara, which also marks her foray into the Telugu cinema. Co-starring with Sudheer Babu, Sonakshi gets into an epic fight between greed and sacrifice. Many called the film cringe and a loss of potential, as it led to disappointment despite having a great concept. One fan wrote, “Definition of Cringe.”
Another requested fans to stay away from theaters running the supernatural film and said, “A cinematic masterclass in testing human limits. #SudheerBabu delivers emotionless perfection, while #SonakshiSinha sets new standards in acting. This deserves an Oscar for endurance. Stay at least 69km away from any theatre showing it.”
Apart from the negative traction, the movie managed to grab some good reviews as well. A netizen praised the climax and performance while ranking it better than Baaghi 3 and Mass Jathara. Sharing the same, a fan wrote, “Jatadhara is a solid horror thriller with Sudheer Babu’s emotional performance shining throughout. The intense second half and divine Hara Hara Mahadev climax make it a worthy watch. The movie is still Better than Mass Jathara. & Baaghi 3.. Really. Love It's VFX & theme.”
