In the age of OTT where language is no barrier to great content, actors are increasingly willing to branch out to new industries and conquer unchartered territories. While Fahadh Faasil is making his Telugu debut with Allu Arjun's Pushpa, Vijay Deverakonda is testing new waters in Bollywood with the multilingual Liger.

Vijay Sethupathi is another example of an actor who's regularly taking up offers across Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi languages beyond Tamil. Dhanush is also to make his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual while Tamil superstar Vijay has recently committed to a Telugu-Tamil bilingual with Vamsi Paidipally.

Siva Karthikeyan joins this elite list and will make his Telugu debut in a film directed by Jathi Ratnalu maker Anudeep. To be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu, the film will be jointly produced by Narayan Das Narang and Puskar Ram Mohan Rao. The producers have aggressively signed up many A-listers project after project in recent times. They have bankrolled Sekhar Kammula's Love Story and will also produce the director's next with Dhanush. Besides, they have a film with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Shaurya each.

Another project of Siva Karthikeyan, Doctor, was in the news recently for opting for a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor's own production Vaazhl is also releasing directly on SonyLIV this weekend. He is currently awaiting the release of Ayalaan with Rakul Preet Singh while shooting for a film titled Don where he pairs up with Priyanka Mohan for the second time.
