Jawan advance Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan’s crosses Rs 2 crore mark in the US days before its trailer release

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has been making the right noise at the Box Office. The movie’s advance bookings are also at full speed. The film has earned more than Rs. 2 crores in the US alone. This proves that the movie’s craze is in India but beyond it too.

Details of the advanced booking

Jawan has earned Rs. 2 crores at the US Box Office from 450 locations. The numbers are just from the advance booking, which was also open to limited places. According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, 13750 tickets of the film are sold out so far. The film has released in 1884 screens there.

Will Jawan beat Pathaan?

The big question on everyone’s mind is – will Jawan be able to beat Pathaan? The latter is a widely successful movie that became the highest grossing film in India this year. Shah Rukh Khan started the year with a bang through the Siddharth Anand directorial, which was a part of the YRF Spy Universe along with Tiger and War.

Coming to the US, Pathaan had earned Rs. 15 crores in North America. Jawan is expected to beat the collections, since it is faring so well in advance bookings itself.

First reactions for Jawan trailer

While very limited people have watched Jawan trailer, they are singing praises for the film. Karan Johar was among those who saw a glimpse of the movie. The renowned filmmaker was stunned. He did not reveal details but called Jawan ‘trailer of the century!’ Jawan trailer, it was recently revealed, will be unveiled on August 31, 2023.

The film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and co-produced by Gaurav Verma, will be out in theatres on September 7. Helmed by Atlee, it will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone is seen in a special appearance in the movie.

Jawan sees SRK in a double role – an intelligence officer and a thief. Sanya and Priyamani are seen as a part of his team (of thieves). Jawan is also special because it is the first collaboration between Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan. The movie has many firsts including Nayanthara, SRK and Vijay Sethupathi working with one another for the first time.
