Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's most recent film, has shattered box office records both domestically and internationally. And right now, anticipation for his upcoming film, Jawan, is at an all-time high. The film is the first pan-Indian film from Bollywood to showcase Hindi and Tamil culture. It has been reported to Bollywood Hungama that Jawan's release date may change.

A source told the entertainment portal that now that the Jawan shoot is in progress, the producers are working around the clock to finish the movie as quickly as possible. Shah Rukh thinks that a movie as big as Jawan needs more time, but Atlee is sure that the final edit of the movie will be done on time. Atlee thinks he has enough time to lock Jawan's final print.

The insider further stated that if not June 2, Jawan may release in October. After reviewing the development of the movie on the editing table, Shah Rukh and Atlee will meet in a few weeks to settle on the official release date. Both Atlee and SRK want to present an unadulterated picture, so before choosing the date, they would consider all factors.

Atlee wrote and directed Jawan, which is an action thriller. Together with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani, it features Shah Rukh in a dual character. Reports say that even Deepika Padukone has a pivotal role in the film. The movie marks the Hindi movie debuts of Atlee and Nayanthara. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer of the much-awaited film.

Starting in September 2021 and ending in February 2023, the primary filming took place. It was filmed in Aurangabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai.

The movie will also be dubbed and released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

After Jawan, SRK will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, opposite Taapsee Pannu.
