Shah Rukh Khan’s fans can bounce with joy today! Jawan has collected Rs 1004.92 crores at the box office globally. With this feat, Jawan has become the second film in India to cross the Rs 1000-crore benchmark globally in 2023. Prior to Jawan, another Shah Rukh Khan starrer titled ‘Pathaan’ minted over a thousand crore rupees at the box office.

Red Chillies Entertainment – the official production house of Jawan – today confirmed that the movie, Jawan, has collected a little over Rs 1000 crore at the box office globally. In an Instagram post today, the renowned production house wrote, “History in the maKING ft. Jawan! Have you watched it yet? Go book your tickets now! Watch #Jawan in cinemas - in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.” This post includes short footage from the movie which shows Shah Rukh Khan essaying dual roles.
The post has been liked by thousands of Instagram users globally. According to a report published in The Indian Express, “Today, Shah Rukh Khan has become the first Indian actor with two films in the Rs 1000 crore club in a single year.”

On its eighteenth day in theaters, the film 'Jawan' achieved an impressive milestone by earning a net of Rs 15 crore in India across all languages. This brought the cumulative domestic collection to a remarkable Rs 560.83 crore, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. Despite its Hindi version maintaining a 33.64 percent occupancy on Sunday, 'Jawan,' directed by renowned Tamil filmmaker Atlee, continues to demonstrate robust performance in Tamil-speaking areas, recording a substantial 46.92 percent occupancy in Tamil and a commendable 24.86 percent occupancy in Telugu on the same day.
"Jawan" marks the directorial debut of Atlee in Hindi cinema and is an action-packed thriller. Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, portraying both a father and son who join forces to combat corruption in society. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.
