Jawan continues to roar with prowess at the box office! By the end of Friday evening, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer passed the Rs 200 crore gross mark worldwide. This action entertainer – which was released theatrically on September 7 – was surely one of the most awaited films of Shah Rukh Khan.
According to Sacnilk – a portal that keeps track of box office collection in India, Jawan earned a whooping Rs 53 crores on day two of its release, which is nearly as high as the opening day collection of SRK’s last film, Pathaan.
Pathaan once boasted the title of Hindi cinema's most impressive opening day until Jawan took the throne on Thursday with a remarkable performance, surpassing it by almost 20%. This masala action film managed to rake in Rs 74 crore from all languages in India on its first day, leaving Pathaan trailing with its previous record of Rs 57 crore. Adding to its triumph, the film continued its successful run on Friday, accumulating an estimated Rs 53 crore. As a result, the film's two-day net total in India now stands at an impressive Rs 127 crore, with Sacnilk estimating that approximately Rs 47 crore of this figure was generated from the Hindi-language release.

Shah Rukh Khan, last evening, thanked his fans and well-wishers for showering love towards the movie. Directed by Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan features in a dual role Jawan. Besides SRK, the movie also features Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in crucial roles. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance as well.
