Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is unstoppable! The film has worked wonders at the box office. With each passing day, the Atlee directorial is setting new records and shattering the old ones. Also featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, Jawan released on September 7, 2023. The Pan-India film has set the benchmark high for other films that will be released in future.
In the meantime, the SRK-starrer is all set to beat Baahubali and Gadar 2 at the box office. As per trade reports, Jawan will soon surpass the lifetime collection of the aforementioned movies.
Jawan all set to shatter Baahubali and Gadar 2's record
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office update of SRK's film on Instagram. "#Jawan concludes Week 2 with INCREDIBLE NUMBERS… Will breach past ₹ 500 cr mark in *Weekend 3*, will also surpass #Baahubali #Hindi and #Gadar2 *lifetime biz* in *Week 3*… [Week 2] Fri 18.10 cr, Sat 30.10 cr, Sun 34.26 cr, Mon 14.25 cr, Tue 12.90 cr, Wed 8.60 cr, Thu 7.25 cr. Total: ₹ 473.44 cr. #Hindi. #India biz. #Boxoffice (sic)."
Sharing the box office figures of Jawan's Tamil and Telugu versions of week 2, he mentioned, "#Jawan [#Tamil + #Telugu; Week 2] Fri 1 cr, Sat 2.20 cr, Sun 3 cr, Mon 2 cr, Tue 1.90 cr, Wed 80 lacs, Thu 70 lacs. Total: ₹ 54.95 cr. #Boxoffice (sic)."

About Jawan
Jawan has been directed by South filmmaker Atlee. This film marked the director's first collaboration with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh. Deepika Padukone had an extended cameo in the film.
