The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) recently revealed that National Cinema Day 2023 is all set to be celebrated nationwide on October 13. To the delight of movie enthusiasts, tickets for this special occasion will be priced as low as ₹99, excluding recliner and premium formats, making it an affordable cinematic treat for all.
Every year, this day is celebrated to mark the valuable existence of cinemas in India that have invaluably uplifted the growth of the Indian film industry.
About Jawan and its success
Jawan, an action thriller film, is co-written and directed by Atlee, and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh Khan takes on a dual role as father and son doppelgängers, joining forces to combat corruption in society. The stellar cast includes Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi, with Deepika Padukone making a special appearance, along with Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra in supporting roles.
The much-anticipated theatrical release finally took place on September 7, 2023, coinciding with the Hindu festival of Janmashtami.
