The husband-wife duo turned heads as they made a dashing entry in black

Jawan director Atlee and his wife and producer Priya Atlee made a stylish appearance at the Cannes Film Festival as the duo twinned in black. In the pictures posted by celebrity management company, The Route, they are seen waving at the shutterbugs. While Atlee looked dapper in a three-piece suit, Priya stunned in a black saree.
The official Twitter handle of the company, posted, "As cameras flashed amidst the glitz & glam, Director @Atlee_dir & @priyaatlee graced the red carpet at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on May 21st #TheRouteTalent #CannesFilmFestival #Atlee (sic)."
The duo were earlier clicked by the shutterbugs while leaving the airport in Mumbai. Videos and pictures of their departure emerged on social media. This is Atlee's maiden appearance at Cannes.
Atlee is gearing up for Bollywood debut Jawan, an action thriller, which has Shah Rukh in a dual role. The rest of the star cast includes Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, Riddhi Dogra, Astha Agarwal, Kenny Basumatary, Girija Oak to name a few. The film will also mark Nayanthara and Anirudh Ravichander's Bollywood debut.
Jawan is bankrolled under Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment banner and the intense action thriller is all set to hit screens on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

In a Twitter chat with his fans, Shah Rukh Khan had stated that he had watched the previous films of Atlee and that he liked Theri and Mersal the most. Interestingly, both films had Vijay as the lead actor.
Though speculations are rife that Vijay is making a cameo appearance in the film, there is no confirmation on the same. Talking about the film, SRK had tweeted, " "For me at least it’s a new kind of a genre. An Atlee special and the marriage of trying to bring two ways of making films in tandem (sic)."
