Jawan: Fans offer milk to Shah Rukh Khan’s poster, form human chains in celebration

Shah Rukh Khan is the ‘King of Bollywood’ who enjoys a dedicated and loyal fan following. His latest release is Atlee’s Jawan,  in which he shares screen space with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani.

The superstar has the nation in a tizzy, with fans flocking cinema halls with banners, confetti, gulal, and music bands.

Jawan on fans’ cars, in their hearts, and everywhere else!

One Shah Rukh Khan fan, named Vishwarukh Vishal Singh, has covered his car in Jawan posters to celebrate the premiere of the film.

Journalist Faridoon Shahryar shared this video of Shah Rukh Khan fans forming a human chain, chanting “Shah Rukh, Shah Rukh”, in front of Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai.

In Chennai, fans celebrated the grand release of the film by dancing to the beats of drums. They also decorated a poster of Shah Rukh with garlands and offered milk.

In almost all cinema halls across India, audiences were seen grooving along with Shah Rukh as the Zinda Banda song played on screen. They even filled cinema halls with confetti in celebration.

Outside Urvashi Theatre in Bengaluru, fans danced to the beats of drums, throwing gulal in the air.

Jawan slated to trump Pathaan

Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of the year. It is the first time that he has collaborated with South Indian director Atlee and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Red Chilles Entertainment has produced film that has cameo appearances by Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Sanjay Dutt.

Shah Rukh returned to films earlier this year after a 4-year-long with the blockbuster film Pathaan.
