If the latest speculations are to be believed, Shiva Rajkumar might soon make his grand Bollywood debut!
Shiva Rajkumar has hit yet another purple patch in his career and there's no denying it. At this very moment, the 60-year-old actor is swamped with exciting work that ranges from high-octane heist thrillers like Ghost to gritty crime action dramas like Bhairathi Ranagal. And in the same vein, he is also engrossed in making his Tamil debut with two high-profile projects, Jailer and Captain Miller, wherein he shares the screen with superstar Rajinikanth and the very talented Dhanush, respectively.
But that isn't all. Aside from all the gripping work that's underway currently, it would seem that Bollywood, too, has come calling for the services of Century Star. According to the latest reports that have emerged on social media, the makers of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan have approached Shiva Rajkumar for a cameo role. Apparently, the move to cast someone of the stature of Shivanna comes in pursuit of making things bigger and better, considering that Khan's most recent release Pathaan demolished box office records.
There isn't an official word on Shiva Rajkumar's casting yet, mind you, and even the speculations are claiming that the actor has only been 'approached', which means his presence in Jawan is far from being confirmed. However, should there be any truth to this conjecture, then the prospects certainly look super exciting - will the two SRKs meet, after all?
Shiva Rajkumar also makes a cameo appearance in Nelson Dilip Kumar's Jailer and will play Dhanush's older brother in Captain Miller.
Jawan marks the Hindi debut of Tamil writer-director Atlee who has opted for a unique mix of actors from the Hindi and Tamil film industries. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a dual role in the film with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Sunil Grover playing important roles. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the soundtrack of Jawan.
As far as Shiva Rajkumar's inclusion is concerned, turns out he isn't the only south Indian superstar rumoured to be part of the project. Recently, the Peeping Moon reported that Pushpa: The Rule actor Allu Arjun, too, has been approached for a key role in the film, but the superstar is yet to agree to starring in Jawan.
