Since the time Deepika Padukone made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, they have been among the favourite onscreen duos in Bollywood. Their latest outing, Jawan, has left fans more impressed than ever, and fans wished to see more of them onscreen as Deepika Padukone was seen in an extended cameo appearance. Now, during an "Ask SRK" session on X, one of the users asked the superstar a funny question regarding their Jawan storyline.

Shah Rukh Khan's playful response to a fan:

The X user asked Shah Rukh, "Hey Vikram Rathore, Aishwarya is watching you from heaven having fun with other girls and Azad, kya jawab denge Aishwarya ko? @iamsrk #Jawan #AskSRK"

To which the King Khan replied, "She knows deep down inside I am a romantic, and I respect women too much. She must be happy. I am having fun! You also have some fun now. (sic)"

For the uninitiated, Deepika's character Aishwarya dies in Jawan, and Vikram Rathore (SRK) is alive and seeks revenge from Kaali (Vikram Sethupathi) for all his wrongdoings.

One more fan asked SRK about his experience working with Deepika for the seventh time. To which he replied, "It’s always a pleasure and happiness working with her."

Shah Rukh and Deepika have worked together in movies, namely Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and now Jawan. However, Deepika made a few cameos in films featuring SRK, like Billu and Zero.

Earlier at Jawan's success event, when asked about playing diverse roles in the same year from Pathaan to Jawan, Deepika said, "I am playing a sultry character in one movie and a mother in the next. I personally didn’t approach it like that. I invested in the vision and in the story. If that meant I play the role of a mother, so be it."
