Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is garnering praise for his latest movie Jawan from across the country. However, he seemed a little more thrilled after learning what Telugu superstar Allu Arjun thought about the movie and his performance in it.

Allu Arjun heaped praises on SRK for delivering "the massiest" performance in Jawan. And SRK responded with a touch of humility by noting that he must have learned something from Allu Arjun after repeated viewing of the latter's blockbuster hit Pushpa: The Rise.

"Thank u so much my man. So kind of you for the love and prayers. And when it comes to swag and ‘The Fire’ himself praises me….wow…it has made my day!!! Feeling Jawan twice all over now!!! I must admit I must have learnt something from you as I had seen Pushpa thrice in three days!!! Big hug to u and will come and give u one personally as soon as possible. Keep swagging!!! Love u," SRK said while responding to Allu Arjun on X, formerly Twitter.

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan gamble

It's noteworthy that SRK had earlier revealed that he had studied the movies of superstars like Rajinikanth, Vijay, Yash and of course, Allu Arjun to understand the taste of South Indian audiences.

Writer-director Atlee has shown SRK in a never-before-seen avatar in Jawan. While SRK has done action movies, in this movie he takes on the heroic mantle that's usually earmarked for south superstars. And SRK's conviction in Atlee's talent paid off and how.

Jawan creating box office history

Jawan has shattered the box office records of previous blockbusters, including SRK's last hit Pathaan. In the first week of its release, the movie has grossed more than Rs 660 crore from its worldwide ticket sales. As the movie shows no signs of slowing down, it's likely to breach the Rs 1000 crore milestone at the box office in record time.
