Jawan: This is how much the Shah Rukh Khan starrer made in Tamil and Telugu

Jawan is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and has already grossed Rs 1000 crores at the box office. In India alone, it has made over Rs 500 crores which is superb and shows what kind of a form Shah Rukh Khan is at the moment. 

Atlee has directed this film which had Deepika Padukone and Nayanthara in lead roles. Anirudh composed the music and Vijay Sethupathi played the main villain. Well, Jawan was also dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and it made big numbers at the box office. 

As per the latest update, Jawan has made Rs 30 crore net in Telugu and Rs 28 crore net in Tamil. These are massive numbers and show how the non-Hindi-speaking audience loved the film in the South. Jawan is holding well in a few theatres in Tamil Nadu and Telugu states even in its third week.

The theatrical rights of Jawan were sold for a high price in Telugu and Tamil. There was doubt whether the film would make much money in the South. But all those who bought the film are seeing double the profit for the money spent. This shows that if the content is strong, the audience will come to the theatres and watch a Hindi film in Telugu and Tamil without any doubt.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has made headlines as his new film Dunki is all set for a massive release on December 22, 2023. The same day, Prabhas's Salaar is also releasing and there is a north vs. south debate that has been created as of now.
