Oh no! Shah Rukh Khan’s fans, be mindful. With barely six days left for the theatrical release of Jawan, the movie's new poster has leaked online. A post on Reddit has gone viral on social media wherein Shah Rukh Khan features prominently in the poster.
Not only this, but actors Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Deepika Padukone also feature in the poster. If this poster is authentic, then this will be the first poster of Jawan which will feature Deepika Padukone. Notably, in the previously released posters of the film, only actors Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara were featured in it.
Soon after this post went viral on social media, a Reddit user in the comments section felt as if Deepika Padukone is in the lead role instead of Nayanthara and expressed disappointment.
“I love Deepika, but I feel Nayanthara deserves more hype, after all, she is the leading lady of this movie,” wrote a Reddit user. Another observer about the development wrote, “There is no Deepika Padukone in the posters for India release. This poster is for the Singapore release, maybe. She has a big fan following there.”
This development sweeps in just hours after Red Chillies Entertainment – the official production house of the movie – released the trailer of this highly-anticipated movie.

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan trailer was released after a pre-release event in Chennai. The trailer shows Shah Rukh in different roles and combines elements of vigilante thrillers and masala entertainers. It has a South Indian-inspired feel with melodramatic and violent moments.
The film seems to have multiple timelines and Shah Rukh appears as a soldier and a vigilante. Nayanthara plays a cop and a romantic interest. It's unclear if Shah Rukh is playing dual roles.
