The makers of the upcoming Tamil film, Kadhalikka Neramillai, released a glimpse into the characters today (June 3). The brief clip features the characters of Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen swinging back and forth while exchanging passionate looks. The 30-second preview also features AR Rahman's vocals over an energetic background track.

Actor Jayam Ravi discussed the film's plot and why it's not a "regular love story" in an interview with a media outlet earlier. Since Kadhalikka Neramillai does not belong to any of my typical boy-meets-girl stories, it is unlike anything I have done before. Instead, the movie will show mature love that goes beyond age differences, the Siren actor disclosed.
He continued by saying that the filmmaker had broken the pattern of conventional romantic films, in which two people typically meet, fall in love, and then choose whether or not to stay together.
Without giving away too much about the Tamil movie, Nithya described it as a cute romantic drama in an exclusive conversation with OTTplay. Nithya stated in another interview that the film defies a lot of conventions.
Kadhalikka Neramillai cast and crew
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who previously directed the ZEE5 series Paper Rocket and Vanakkam Chennai, has helmed this project. It is also the first time that the actors have worked with the director and each other on screen. The romantic drama's makers had officially declared that the film's production was finished. On social media, they posted pictures of the last few days on the sets.
The supporting cast of the movie includes Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, T J Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini. Red Giant Pictures has bankrolled the movie, which features music composed by AR Rahman. Actor-musician Shruti Haasan sang the lead song of Kaadhalikka Neramillai. Snehan has penned the lyrics for the soundtracks. The makers of Kadhalikka Neramillai have not yet disclosed a release date.
