Jayasurya starts dubbing for his upcoming movie John Luther, shares pic

The upcoming Jayasurya starrer John Luther is one of the most awaited films, especially among his fans. Recently, the actor shared an update about the movie helmed by Abhijith Joseph.

Jayasurya shared a picture of himself dubbing for the movie. He penned a note in the caption on Instagram. It revealed he has started dubbing for the movie.

The actor was last seen in the single character movie Sunny. Written and directed by Ranjith Shankar, the movie had a direct-to-OTT release through Amazon Prime Video. The feel good movie received positive reviews, with Jayasurya being specially mentioned for his performance. To top it all, the actor received Kerala State Award for Best Actor last year, for his performance in the Prajesh Sen directorial Vellam. John Luther will be the next movie in Jayasurya’s pipeline.

Actor Deepak Parambol who plays a major role in the movie has earlier announced that he had finished his dubbing for the film. The actor had also shared the news to his Instagram.

Meanwhile, John Luther also includes actors like Siddique, Sreelakshmi, Drishya Raghunath, Athmiya and Shivadas Kannur. The movie is touted to be an investigative thriller. Roby Varghese Raj is on board for the cinematography while Praveen Prabhakar who is best known for movies like Ustaad Hotel and Trance, will be the editor.

Director Abhijith had earlier opened up about the film to ETimes and said that it will have elements like drama and family sentiments as well. He had also cleared that the character is not an inspiration from DCI John Luther, essayed by Hollywood actor Idris Elba from the TV series Luther.
